Barbara Nickless lives in Colorado where she loves to snowshoe, cave, hike aand drink single malt scotch–usually not at the same time. Her debut novel, Blood on the Tracks, was a SUSPENSE MAGAZINE Best of 2016 selection. It won the Daphne du Maurier Award of Excellence, the Colorado Authors’ League Writing Award and the Colorado Book Award.Anna Blake is a horse advocate, professional trainer, clinician, and author of three books: Stable Relation, a Memoir of One Woman’s Spirited Journey Home, by Way of the Barn; Relaxed & Forward: Relationship Advice From Your Horse, and Barn Dance , Nickers, Brays, Bleats, Howls and Quacks: Tales From the Herd.Blake resides at Infinity Farm on the windy, treeless plains of Colorado, home to a multi-species herd of horses, llamas, goats, and Edgar Rice Burro.
Dr. Frances T. Pilch is Professor Emeritus of Political Science at the United States Air Force Academy, where she served on the faculty for 17 years. Her areas of expertise are International Law and Gender Violence. Her book is Invisible: Surviving the Cambodian Genocide.” She has served as a Fulbright-Hays Scholar in South Africa and a Fullbright Scholar in Mongolia, where she taught International Law at the School of Diplomacy, National University of Mongolia in Ulaanaatar.
